Initial consultation
Before beginning any training or enrichment program, a 45-minute consultation via phone, Zoom or in person (depending on location) is required for all facility options.
During the initial consultation, Positively Wild will:
Evaluate behaviors being observed
Discuss goals and concerns
Recommend the most appropriate program
Provide tools that can be used immediately and recommendations prior to starting training sessions.
This is an essential first step in developing an individualized, compassionate and effective training plan that benefits everyone involved-animal and human alike.

Consulations
Single Consultations are designed for facilities that need focused support with an individual animal or a specific behavioral concern. These sessions offer a tailored approach to understanding and improving behavior, whether the goal is to enhance welfare, support medical or husbandry procedures, or troubleshoot training challenges.
Consultations are valuable in a variety of situations, including:
Addressing complex or concerning behaviors that require a second opinion or outside perspective
Developing a behavior plan for a new or high-priority animal
Supporting staff and volunteer education through hands-on coaching or observation-based learning
Introducing enrichment and training techniques for facilities just beginning to explore these methods
Evaluating current training approaches and offering suggestions for refinement
These one-time sessions can be conducted on-site or virtually, depending on your location and the nature of the case. They are also a great option for teams interested in exploring what a broader enrichment or training program might look like before committing to long-term support.
Whether you're seeking a fresh set of eyes or need additional input on a particular case, these consultations are flexible, collaborative, and customized to meet your facility’s unique needs.
